It was coined and spread by antisemites and white supremacists. No amount of teenage adoption changes that origin. Such terms spread negative stereotypes and conspiracy theories. I’ve been to Australia many times and it was only recently I’ve learned that there is a substantial subset of Australians who deeply dislike Americans. I find that really strange. Generally Americans either love Australians or have no opinion of them. I’m in the first set.

I used to think Australian banter was funny because it was unfiltered and rude and that was the comedic style but when you start being a sore loser AFTER your loss it’s no longer comedic banter you just seem pathetic and genuinely rude
