So I've never seen anyone ever talk about this, but in USUM when you take pictures of pokemon in the wild, theres a particular odd Furfrou that can spawn rarely in Hau'oli Cemetery during the day. (1/4)

@oghenetefe Man was there even a reason for the village to know that this kid had the fox in him? Like just knowing Minato took care of it would have been enough or something... And he could have absolutely taken in Naruto himself or someone else to adopt him. So much unnecessary pain...

Honestly, this is one of the darkest things in Naruto once you stop looking at it through “shonen protagonist logic” and start looking at it like an actual child’s life. Naruto wasn’t just an orphan. He was the son of the Fourth Hokage. The man who literally died saving the village. He was Kushina’s child....one of the last Uzumaki. And on top of that, he became the jinchūriki carrying the Nine Tails for Konoha’s protection. By all logic, Naruto should’ve been one of the most protected children in the entire village. Instead? He grew up alone in a tiny apartment. No real parental figure. No emotional support system. No clan. No family friends raising him. No proper explanation about his parents. No protection from public hatred. Just isolation, dirty looks, whispers, and years of emotional neglect. And this is where Hiruzen deserves way more criticism than the fandom usually gives him. Yes, Hiruzen cared about Naruto in his own way. Yes, he made sure Naruto had basic living expenses. But feeding a child financially is not the same thing as raising them emotionally. This was Minato’s son. The same Minato who sacrificed everything for the village. The same Minato Hiruzen personally mentored and watched grow up. And somehow, after Minato dies, his child ends up eating instant ramen alone, wandering the streets desperate for acknowledgment, vandalizing monuments just to force people to notice him. That’s heartbreaking. What makes it worse is that Konoha absolutely knew Naruto was vulnerable. The village feared him because of Kurama. The adults isolated him. The children copied their parents. Even other parents warned their kids to stay away from him. So the leadership understood the situation… and still allowed a traumatized child to grow up emotionally abandoned. People always say: “Hiruzen protected Naruto by hiding his identity.” And to an extent, that’s true. Making Naruto publicly known as Minato’s son could’ve attracted enemies. But protecting his identity should not have required abandoning his childhood. Those are two completely different things. Naruto didn’t need luxury. He didn’t need special treatment. He just needed human connection. Someone consistently present. Someone to hug him. Someone to tell him: “Your parents loved you.” “None of this is your fault.” “You matter.” Instead, Naruto spent years begging for acknowledgment from the same village his parents died protecting. And honestly, that’s part of what makes Naruto such an emotionally powerful character. Most people in his position would’ve become bitter. Some would’ve hated the village. Some would’ve become exactly what the villagers feared. But Naruto still chose empathy. He became the emotional warmth he never received.

@Im_stupi0 @TeebsBeebs Yeah I get you... Tho hey maybe there's a chance the manga might put a closer spin to that? I haven't read it, but I do know they sometimes take a more darker route on things. So here's to hoping? But I definitely thought he had become physically disabled after the accident too..

@Im_stupi0 @TeebsBeebs then later you see him in crotches. Then it shows him kinda iffy about skiing again while the cetoddle remained by his side. I guess later in the episode implies that he will give skiing another chance, but like.. by how the game made it sound

@KonnestraSketch I never cared strongly for her, but the moment I learned about the fish shes based of, she instantly won all my respect. May she shred and eat all the Mareanies and Toxapex! (I don't hate the mons btw, but crown starfishes are the worst)

@antdude92 It's a shame since I actually really loved the game and the lore it brought to the table. I think the thing about it is that it was so direct and complete about it, that there was not much for folks to milk it on, since again it was pretty direct about everything.

Already gonna go down as one of the most under-appreciated Zelda games

@NobodyIsOurGuy I mean its more or less subjective really. Some people prefer the 2 panels above and some all 4. I personally really like the whole thing. Since him freaking out in the end gets me every time lol

Aw man i just found out i missed out on 2 kirby air riders events... Its true I hadnt been playing like for a month, but I usually would catch posts about events coming up.. Hope they someday return, I like collecting all the titles and stickers and stuff. 😭

@Bobbutterbutt I don't hate it, but I do admit I was still a bit disappointed they changed her story so heavily. By taking her illness they also took away the whole desire to go back to earth and see its people and all. Her story felt far more tragic.

the fact they took away her terminal illness and disabilities in the movie was atrocious work and not enough people talk about it.

@andaisdet @DieChanc3 I love that game to death! At least you get to walk, explore and learn about the lore as you play with or without a stranger along with you. Thats WAY better than whatever this shit is.

@DieChanc3 I don’t know if anyone remembers it, but there’s a game called Journey that’s got a better like, “Movie as a Game” sort of vibe, but it’s actually fun as hell to play, tells a great story, and gets emotional at the end… and there’s actual gameplay

@ThanjustaMore I mean considering the show's writing is implying that she's always screaming and threatening him, I wouldn't be surprised if he just mentally tunes her out sometimes. A lot of people do that when they're faced with that sort of stuff daily.

Stella literally screamed her murder plan out loud in front of Stolas and he barely even listened to her. That honestly makes me think he, during their marriage, has never taken her in consideration that much!

@HeavensFirstMan I dont really care about the obvious debate about Val being worse and all, BUT like damn they couldn't even bother making a proper card for Stella? Val literally had a whole ad illustration done, while Stella just got a lazy photoshop LOL. Also he's is really hard to read too.
