In a filing Tuesday with the Circuit Court of Cook County, former Northwestern offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian has sued the school, president Michael Schill and AD Derrick Gragg, claiming he and the rest of the staff were portrayed in a false light after Pat Fitzgerald's firing. Bajakian also claims he was defamed after Gragg publicly criticized staff members for wearing a "Cats Against the World" t-shirt with Fitzgerald's No. 51 on it that was spotted by media at an Aug. 9 practice, saying he wore the shirt twice previously in front of Gragg, whom Bajakian alleges "never informed him, or any other member of the staff, that the t-shirts were inappropriate, offensive, and/or tone deaf."
