Staging Branch has now been wiped. We’ve been scrubbing the decks to keep the Naval Update ship shape. 🧼🫧🚢 Load up and try out the following changes, plus much more: - Electricity, Industrial, Water and even Wallpaper now work on player boats. - Daytime / Nightime changes. - Deep Sea now opens on a random side at a random time. - RHIBs can no longer enter Deep Sea. - Player boats slow down when hit by cannonballs. - Static boat-building stations added to the Deep Sea islands. rust.facepunch.com/staging

I see a lot of mixed reviews, but the Naval update is EASILY my favorite update. The fog of water adds in the old nostalgic feeling I used to get adventuring and exploring the unknown. I love that they brought this back.... But here are some things I think should get changed RHIBS should NOT be able to enter the DEEP Sea only boats. Safe OutPost shouldn't be a safe monument, PVP enabled. Groups use this as a crutch and a means to just run away from every fight. Low-grade consumption for engines should be cheaper Draw Distance being longer would be better, saw a lot of boats just appearing out of nowhere. Loot tables are pretty OP, i'm sure this one will get changed but the loot is just WAY better then anything you see on the main land. Launch, OilRig, Cargo got nothing on the deep sea. Whats your thoughts guys?
