Cardano + Bitcoin
The first atomic swap between Cardano and Bitcoin has now been performed by @FluidTokens, with native BTC swapped directly for native ADA.
That is a meaningful technical milestone because interoperability only starts to matter when value can move between systems without being rebuilt into something else first. Native assets moving across chains changes the quality of what can be built on top.
For Cardano, this starts opening the door to real Bitcoin DeFi.

The BIG problem is if I want to trade ADA or any CNT with USDCx, I need to have 2-3 hops and pay the trading fee of that pair each time. That’s why you end up with huge swap fee.
CNT>ADA>NIGTH/USDM>USDCx
What we need is a very large ADA-USDCx pool with the least amount of fees (~0.1%). This would have benefited every CNT including NIGTH and USDM and most optimal since the biggest pools are always with ADA already.
