We just calculated the average APR on every loan on Fluid, and over more than 350 loans, the results were great 🥹 ➜ 8.1 % APR This means that lending on FluidTokens will yield 2.7 to 5.4 times more than base Cardano staking! Only on Cardano: app.fluidtokens.com/ada/markets

Great question. The main risks are collateral volatility and liquidation execution. At fluid currently lenders trigger liquidation manually so a bit of micromanagement is required, however we have dynamic APY that makes sure loans are not open forever and liquidation treshold increase over time All Fluid contracts are audited, lenders choose the collateral and markets they prefer for their liquidity Any question please head to our Discord!

This is your daily reminder to use BIFROST all the way: Sending BTC is only the first half of the flow. Once that part is done, you still need to complete the Cardano side. Otherwise you are only testing that Bitcoin was received, not that the full bridge flow works. 😆

We ran an experiment on 2 UTXO chains, the results were incredible 👇 We’ve rewarded 50 Bitcoin users with $wDOG on Cardano. Bitcoin users received a Bitcoin-native asset ($DOG on Bitcoin and $wDOG on Cardano) and used it without ever creating a Cardano wallet. They could move it, swap it, sell it, or use it through Smart Accounts while only using their Bitcoin wallet. This was a small test, but it showed something much bigger: interoperability gets real when users stop thinking about chains, wallets and fees, and simply use the assets they already have. The vision is clear: Bifrost brings Bitcoin assets to Cardano. Smart Accounts remove the wallet barrier. Babel Fees remove the fee barrier.
