candidature du Président Macky Sall au poste de Secrétaire général des Nations unies! Sur le plan strictement juridique, Macky Sall a la possibilité de se porter candidat au poste de Secrétaire général des Nations unies sans bénéficier du soutien officiel du Sénégal. En effet, aucune disposition de la Charte des Nations Unies (Article 97) n'exige qu'un candidat soit parrainé par son État d'origine. Toutefois, le Soutien du Sénégal jouera un rôle important sur le plan diplomatique pour cette candidature. Sans le soutien du Sénégal, le PR Macky Sall peut bénéficier d’une recommandation de sa candidature par le conseil de Sécurité des Nations Unies. En effet, pour qu'un candidat soit effectivement nommé au poste de secrétaire général des Nations unies, il est indispensable d'obtenir une recommandation du Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU, qui requiert l'absence de veto de la part des membres permanents. Le PR Macky Sall pourrait potentiellement contourner l’éventuel refus du Sénégal en cherchant un soutien auprès de l'Union Africaine ou en s'alliant avec d'autres pays. Cela semble être la potentielle option puisque le Président du Congo a récemment évoqué la candidature du Président Macky Sall, soulignant la possibilité d'une dynamique régionale favorable. Le bloc africain, représentant 54 voix à l'Assemblée générale, constitue un atout décisif qui pourrait faire pencher la balance en faveur de l’élection du Président Macky Sall. Nous souhaitons le soutien de la candidature de Macky Sall par le gouvernement du Sénégal. Cependant en cas de refus, le PR Macky Sall peut bel et bien être candidat et devenir SG des Nations Unies.
