This is a solid demonstration of Railgun's privacy pools mechanism ( papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cf… ) working in practice, allowing Railgun to avoid serving proceeds of crime without using any snooping / backdoors. How it works: * Anyone can deposit into Railgun. * After you deposit, there is a 1 hour period during which various algorithms detect whether or not the deposit likely came from what the algorithms consider to be criminal activity. * If your deposit passes the filter, then after 1 hour you can use ZKPs to withdraw privately (but ideally wait longer to get a good-enough anonymity set). * If your deposit fails the filter, then you can only withdraw back to your own address. There is no risk that your funds will get frozen/seized, you just can't benefit from the privacy pool. If you disagree with Railgun's filters, anyone is free to fork and make their own pool with their own rules, though if you can't get reasonably wide public support you're going to have a tiny anonymity set. railway.xyz

Eventually, @zkLend has suffered a $9.5M exploit on the Starknet network. Stolen funds were bridged to Ethereum and laundered via Railgun, but due to protocol policies, the funds were returned to the original address by Railgun!

After months in rooms at the WH and Senate, this much is clear: a lot of the public debate overstated the risks and ignored the substance. This outcome preserves activity-based rewards tied to real participation on crypto platforms and networks, which is what the bank lobby said they wanted. We've long believed that this issue did not warrant legislative changes. But whatever-- we’re focused on getting a bill done and are satisifed that this language should not be the basis of any objection. Onward.
Faryar Shirzad 🛡️@faryarshirzad

The final rewards text in the CLARITY Act is now public. We’ve been clear throughout this process: much of this debate was based on imagined risks, not real evidence, nor was it based on a real understanding of how crypto actually works. Nevertheless, the crypto industry showed up to engage. Through months of meetings, the @WhiteHouse, @USTreasury, @BankingGOP, @SenThomTillis and @Sen_Alsobrooks finally arrived at a compromise. In the end, the banks were able to get more restrictions on rewards, but we protected what matters – the ability for Americans to earn rewards, based on real usage of crypto platforms and networks. We also ensured the US can be at the forefront of the financial system – which in this competitive geopolitical era is paramount. That’s important for innovation, consumers and America's national security. Now that this issue is behind us, it’s time to focus on the broader bill. While this debate has been underway, lots of progress has been made on other areas like token classification, defi, and tokenization. We’re excited to review the full, final text, and for the bill to move forward. It’s time to get CLARITY done.

ethereum foundation sold 100,000 ETH to bitmine at $2,337 in a single block trade. they sold 35,000 ETH total in all of 2022. the most informed holder of ETH on the planet just did a 3x larger sale into one counterparty who immediately staked 214,440 ETH with grayscale in 8 hours. bitmine now holds 4.976m ETH, 4.12% of total supply, routing through coinbase prime which pushes coinbase validator control to ~21%. lido at 28%. two entities now run half of ethereum's consensus layer. the foundation sold the decentralization thesis to fund operations and the buyer is accelerating centralization with the proceeds. bear case is the foundation knows something about ETH at $2,337 that you don't. bull case is 10% of supply is now locked in staking products that can't hit the orderbook for months. watch net exchange outflows. if they hold above 500k ETH/month the supply side is cooked

Sure, be happy Russia's ally is down, but violating international law and waging wars of aggression is exactly what allowed Russia to do it in Ukraine and others; Iran isn't the only bad guy in this war, the US and Israel are just as guilty as Russia.

@YourAnonCentral That's what pro-Israelis write. Meanwhile, drones fly over all US capitals and bases, and no one shoots them down. Tell me about the effectiveness of American air defense systems. And what will happen to the stockpiles of air defense missiles, which used in incredible quantities

Iran hit every single country in the Middle East except Turkey; the attacks on US forces were exceptionally ineffective, missing key assets and producing 0 US casualties. A large portion of Irans missile stock is now depleted and exposed. Even the drone strikes were slow and clunky.

@YourAnonCentral Unlikely. Russia will set new unrealistic conditions to shift the blame to Ukraine, as if they agree, but the Ukrainians don't. And Trump will eat it up.

Russia will likely agree to peace negotiations with Ukraine now; it’ll probably end up with Russia leaving and Donbass becoming a special zone, the trade off being the US will push the normalization of Russia with Europe leading to a takeover via corruption and far right.

#BTC The 200-week EMA (black) is acting as resistance, despite upside wicking beyond it In fact, in 2018 Bitcoin also produced an upside wick beyond the 200-week EMA (far left red circle) to confirm the EMA as new resistance Ultimately, as long as Bitcoin remains below the 200-week EMA, history suggests price will favour additional downside $BTC #Crypto #Bitcoin

#BTC Moment of truth upcoming for Bitcoin Earlier this week, Bitcoin lost the 200-week EMA (black) as support which meant that "price could turn it into resistance on any upcoming recovery" The recovery is now here And if Bitcoin indeed turns the 200-week EMA into new resistance, that would confirm the breakdown from the EMA to enter additional downside continuation, in line with historical tendencies across cycles $BTC #Crypto #Bitcoin

The most valuable chart in the markets: #Bitcoin vs. Gold. In history, bear markets last 14 months. In this case; we're in month 14. The lowest RSI on weekly, monthly, two-weekly and 3-day ever recorded. Probably nothing.

VanEck is predicting Solana will trade at $3,000 within the next 4 years. That means SOL has to hit $1.81 trillion MCAP. That's more than: - Amazon → ~$1.7T - Meta → ~$1.6T - Tesla → ~$1.5T - Walmart → ~$1.5T - JP Morgan → ~$1T - Saudi Aramco → ~$1.4T - Berkshire Hathaway → ~1T It's so over 😭

Trump has it backwards. The U.S. doesn’t subsidize the world; the world subsidizes the U.S. The dollar’s reserve-currency status allows us to live beyond our means. Soaring debt, tariffs, and military threats jeopardize that status. When it’s lost, economic collapse will follow.

Ethereum has hit the ideal zone for buys earlier in November and has seen an uptrend since. As a matter of fact, $ETH has been uptrending since April '25. Given the compression, I would assume that a big breakout happens during the upcoming week. In my expectations it should be upwards, given that Ethereum has been resting on top of the 21-Day MA over the past week.
