@TheRealSlimSadi According to her allusion to canon, she simply has to "fall for Spider-Man"... she never stood a chance. If my predictions holds true, this'll culminate into the biggest "Fuck You!" to canon. Next time she leaps through a portal for Miles, with open arms, she won't hold back.

@Over_Boiled I don't blame her man. With everything this poor girl's been through the in the months leading up to this, I'm sure she'd be more than willing for time to just halt in that moment; forever. After this, all the dominoes start toppling over, one by one.

The most honest she lets herself be in the entire movie.

I wouldn’t be surprised if she turns up in some way, maybe even leading the Sinister Six Cartell. There is also the deleted scene of ITSV where she jumps into the portal. She‘s definitely specialized in multiverse theory so I think she could make her own anti glitch device

Everyone seems to think it's an Earth-42 variant. Some say it might be E-42s Gwenom. I'm not convinced on either, as the implication is that E-42 is in a relationship with Prowler Miles. And that would pretty much derail the whole "there's a first time for everything" aspect. I don't believe it's Earth-8 for the exact same reason. Rumors floated around about Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard reprising their roles as live action variants of Gwen. The "plot integral" aspect of the comment really makes it seem like a Gwen that either managed to avert Canon completely or one that's in ruin for not following it? And that our Gwen is going to come to a tough decision on which turn she takes when she's at the fork in the road? Wonder if there's a small mention of it in the first teaser 🤔

You know, a lot of people believe that Miles will experience this in Beyond, saving Gwen from another fall. But it'd be such an interesting twist and call back, for Gwen to experience it. Miles gets knocked back by Spot, dazed from the blow, free falling at rapid speeds. All Society member watches going berserk, pinging the Canon event. But Gwen is completely in tune, her Sunflower sense calling her to action. Calling her to him.

if Miguel easily told Miles he wasn't meant to be Spider-Man, do you think he ever told Gwen she was never meant to be alive?

Going to apologize ahead of time for the length, terribly sorry. The reason I lean towards saying yes, is presented very early in the first act. When Jess asks Miguel why they don't recruit Gwen to their cause, he retorts saying you know why. But we however, don't. Not for a fact at least. Why is Miguel inclined to believe that Gwen can't join the Society? Is it cause she'd be a threat to them like Miles later was? Do they believe that she wouldn't be malleable enough to accept Canon? Obviously they've seen her handiwork, she's more than capable. And I dare say her quick thinking and cat-like agility could best tons of Spiders, akin to Miles. Is it that she's too young? Well Pavitr is a member with only 6 months of Spider-Maning under his belt and he's most likely younger than Miles himself. And we see a few kid Spiders in the Society as well (ie. Spiderling). So then why is it that Miguel is in such defiance against Gwen joining? What do they know that we don't? I do believe that Gwen, like Miles, is also an anomalous figure. We do not see any other Gwen's within the Society and it all leads back to her Canon. She was never meant to be a Spider, also like Miles (catching on yet?) and so, they're hesitant on bringing such folks forth. But the delivery of it is quite important. My head-canon has always been that Gwen pleaded with them, day after day, to go visit Miles. And once they ran out of excuses as to why she couldn't, she was sat down and shown two key pieces of information: ASM-90, the death of Captain Stacy and ASM-121, the death of Gwen Stacy. Poor girl learns firsthand that any romantic involvement between her and Spider-Man results in her death. What's worse is that, she's now a Spider too, which begs the question: who is HER Gwen Stacy? In this case, it's obviously Miles. Either way, Canon has cruel futures planned for these two star crossed lovers. And Miguel can shove it, when these two prove him wrong. @GhostflowerMG @Bob20512233 No no no, for sure. They definitely are. There are just some surprisingly relevant panels in that comic, that L&M could put their own spin on. I mean, some of the best scenes are ripped directly from it. Only now, with context and writing that makes it feel earned.

I suspect BTSV will deal with the band traveling to different dimensions to figure out the canon. Since I predict they will get Miguel on there side before the Spot battle. Maybe a scene where Miles/Gwen get separated with the group and have to learn to trust one another?

After Miles does the impossible and saves the Multiverse, Gwen, confronted with two would be "canon events", will take her leap of faith. Saving herself and Miles, mirroring Miles saving Gwen at the collider in the first movie.

@0hh1mark @Wazflame Miles and the Spot will find solace, as they both defy what is expected of them, one by society as a whole(including us), the other by those he thought would welcome him. From banes of the Multiverse, to its saviors.

I just saw this picture online about Miles' silhouette graffiti and the Spot and noticed their resemblance for the first time. Do you think this is by chance or has a deeper meaning regarding how their paths have and will cross in Across and Beyond the Spider-Verse?

@dirkdada @TheRealSlimSadi @LoneWolf144457 I do suspect we're being bamboozled, partially. Since the vision Miles experiences during the "intervention" didn't contain everything he saw at the collider. So far, he thinks he just has to stop the Spot. He'll likely piece together more in Beyond.

@TheRealSlimSadi @LoneWolf144457 We also don't necessarily know that all those are due to Spot. Part of Beyond might be the Society having a civil war.

I'd wager that is plot significant! Think we've touched upon it before but I truly believe Spot's portals are the key. The key to our Spidery friends being able to travel and coexist in other realities without necessity of the watch. And any prying eyes coughMiguelisapsycopathcough
