Nine years ago today, 49 members of the LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities were killed at the Pulse Nightclub shooting. Today we remember and recognize this loss. The Matthew Shepard Foundation continues to fight to erase hate and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community.

This Pride Month, I’ll restate what I’ve said before: Anyone who wants to take away the rights of our LGBTQ+ community will have to go through me first.

On our street, everyone is welcome. Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and respected for who they are. Happy #PrideMonth!
