Emotionally, recording this scene had more weight for me than you might expect. This is all too relatable of a neurospicy experience, so it meant a helluva lot to me.

When I encounter exceptional stories, I revel in them... Then I reflect on the desperate hopes and wishes that I can deliver such compelling, evocative, and resonating narratives. 😬

Milo has cancer. Initially, the vet thought he had lymphoma, but after that was shown to be wrong, the suspicion was an issue with a salivary gland (very fixable). After not responding to treatment, further tests showed a rare and aggressive type of melanoma. My heart is breaking

Today we lost our beloved dog Finnegan. A few months ago, Finn started showing some worrying symptoms, and a CT scan confirmed our worst suspicions: an aggressive cancerous growth in his nose, eye, and brain. He was 7 years old.

Twelve years ago today, I adopted Milo from the local shelter. Here's to many more years with this perfect pup 🥂
