🚨Cech & Drogba’s post match reaction after winning their first ever Champions League title with Chelsea is so amazing to watch, man. You just had to be there. 🗣️ Drogba: Mata said if they score we are going to score and David Luiz told me believe. If we are in the situation like this, can Badiashile and Tosin say this? 😭😭😭

I didn’t call my husband crying. I called him angry. It was 11:47 PM. I was sitting on the kitchen floor, laptop open, staring at an email that said my contract wasn’t being renewed. Just like that. Two years of overtime, weekends, skipped holidays — gone in one paragraph. When he answered, I didn’t even say hello.
“I lost my job.” Silence. Not the awkward kind. The steady kind. He said, “Okay. I’m coming home.” He was on a night shift. I told him not to. I said I didn’t want him to risk it. I said I was fine. He said, “You’re not.” Twenty minutes later, I heard the door. He didn’t try to fix it. Didn’t start giving solutions. Didn’t say, “You’ll find something better.” Didn’t minimize it. He just sat on the floor with me. He ordered food because he knew I hadn’t eaten. He closed my laptop because he knew I’d keep rereading the email. He made a list the next morning not of jobs for me but of bills he could cover alone “for as long as it takes.” The next week, I found out he had quietly moved money from his personal savings into our joint account. Not because I asked. Because he anticipated. Months later, when I apologized for being “a burden,” he looked genuinely confused. “We’re married,” he said. “There is no yours and mine when things fall apart. There’s just us.” That’s when I understood something about marriage. It’s not about who plans the best anniversary or posts the sweetest captions. It’s about who sits on the kitchen floor with you when your world collapses. It’s about who absorbs your panic without adding their own. It’s about who turns “your problem” into “our plan.” Marriage isn’t loud. It’s steady. And when it’s real, you don’t have to beg someone to show up. They already grabbed their keys.

Unpopular opinion about marriage that would get you in this position???

The commentary is better than the video itself. Yet to see a goalkeeper better than Peter Cech yet.

I’m genuinely confused. So after the inflation. After the kidnappings. After months of no light. After tax and fuel hikes. After terrible healthcare. After salaries can’t even keep up with feeding. Election Day comes then: You dress up, You leave your house, You queue under the hot sun, You vote for the same person again. You are not normal. Tell me if I’m wrong.

@Papychulli the difference between NMS and NNSS Abk is not a wide gap in brutality. it was just easier to settle seniors with provisions than cash.

in secondary school, i learnt a hack whenever we got back to school from the holidays, we always had to settle the seniors, mostly with cash, so I decided to buy canned drinks instead to share. it was cheaper than whatever cash i had to give but was appreciated equally.
Morris Monye@Morris_Monye

So @Wizarab10 told me a hack a while back. Always carry cash to “appreciate” people. Few wads of raw cash is better appreciated than bank transfer you want to do. It does something to people’s psychological when they are handed cash. 20k in cash is better appreciated than 20k transfer.

Any love I have given you is yours to keep. I will never ask for it back, never regret it, never treat it as wasted. Love was never a trade. It was a gift I offered because, in those moments, you mattered.

Before you vote, remember that they promised that refineries would work after they removed subsidies They expended billions on the portharcourt refineries and Co Ask them what happened to the billions Remember, they had to rebase and change the calculation methodology before inflation hit 15%, and even with that, ask them why interest rate 27% and inflation 15% Ask them why you will have close to 50 billion in reserve and they claim they make revenue they met their target, but out of over 200 billion for health, they can only fund 36m Ask them why, despite all the promises that removal of subsidies will help them fund projects, the Ministry of works budget of over 3 trillion was just funded with 700 billion Ask them why they can't tell Nigerians that despite announcing subsidy gone in 2023, they paid subsidies until 2024 before they NNPC was forced to tell us the truth Ask them despite all their postulations. The managed floating of the Nigeria sent the currency to dizzying falls, and they still intervened like they are currently doing . Ask them as we celebrate the strides of the stockmarket, devaluation has made stock cheap. Ask them that despite importing food heavily have farmers been able to return to farms because of insecurity Ask them what happened to the Beta Edu investigation in the humanitarian ministry, till date we haven't seen anything Ask them why did we spend over 150 billion to buy a new presidential jet when we could barely fund healthcare

“It’s a very stupid statement to say I’m going to vote for someone I know will be a disaster but I think he would win. ‘I don’t want to waste my vote’. People who think this way are very stupid and deserve what they get”. Don’t say anything. Just share.
