Yesterday we had a lovely surprise. An envelope with a donation to support the work that we do in school was delivered anonymously. I hope that this post will reach them and they will know how grateful we are and what a difference their kindness made to us all . Thank you 🥰

Everyone needs a bit of a pick-me-up sometimes, so we were very happy to receive some lovely letters from children at @ParsonCEprimary They originally wrote them to us after Christmas, but their kind wishes are even more relevant now. Thank you!

Saw this when working with Y4 yesterday... what a creative and personal idea for World Book Day. The children were so proud of their designs and it started such amazing discussions. Another example of ⁦@ParsonCEprimary⁩ being a great school! Bloomin’ brilliant!

Today was World Book Day, our children were all given a white t-shirt to transform into a fabulous book-theme. What an amazing job they did! We have had such fun reading, quizzing and reading some more.

Y1 @ParsonCEprimary were delightful today! Personalised burlap Christmas sacks with a secret reindeer decoration inside! I’ve never been hugged so many times!

Mission complete! Our final Christmas Parcel delivery to the local food bank. We are very proud of our children- making a difference and showing that they understand the true meaning of Christmas.

Year 5 children have been very busy this morning spreading a little Christmas cheer. They have been out and about delivering their parcels to nominated people in our Community as part of their ‘Knock and Go’ project. @field_education @beingbrilliant

It’s Community Christmas Lunch day! Our fabulous school council organised a wonderful afternoon of festive food and entertainment. They asked for nominations for people who would enjoy such an event at what can be a really lonely time. It’s so lovely to see children giving back.

After the success of last year, we will hold our Community Christmas Lunch on Monday 17th Dec. If you know someone who would enjoy an afternoon of company, entertainment and a Christmas lunch please let us know. We still have a few spaces! 01142 313956

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1. To mark the occasion and to commemorate all those who have served we have created our own special tribute. Each child in school has made and sewed a poppy to add to the display. Lest We Forget. 🌺
