Yr6 at Baldwins Hill had another inspiring and exciting visit from @alsylvester2 Sylvester MBE. They listened with enthusiasm, asked great questions and learned about his visit to Antarctica. He even dressed up a child in all the layers he needed to be safe! Thank you Al!

The children from our schools showed tremendous courage, singing in East Grinstead high street on Saturday as part of our academy choir. Thank you to everyone that joined us and for the donations. We raised £158 for East Grinstead food bank! @FoodbankEG

Halsford Park hosted a Year 2 immersive experience with a Great Fire of London workshop. Thanks to @LondonRainbow - so much fun had by all!

The children at all three of our schools have had great fun raising money for @BBCCiN - A sea of spots and yellow as far as the eye could see!

As part of Halsford Park's Year 3's "Fabulous Finish" about electricity, children found out more about the electrical circuit inside an electric car. As part of this activity, they also had the chance to see and go in a Hyundai Ioniq 5!

A glorious day yesterday at East Court for the annual cross country event. Huge congratulations to all the children from Baldwins Hill, Blackwell and Halsford Park that participated. Thank you to all the volunteers from East Grinstead Athletics Club and @grinstead_lions!

Well done to Baldwins Hill who have been awarded their Eco Schools Green flag award with merit. The eco council have done a great job on their eco actions around the school this year!

Year 6 at Blackwell had an amazing experience at their residential at @PGLTravel Windmill Hill last week. A great time and learning experience was had by all that attended!

The butterflies that Blackwell Year 3 nurtured from being tiny caterpillars flew free to delighted gasps from the children!

Well done to all the children from Baldwins Hill, Blackwell and Halsford Park schools who took part in the swimming gala yesterday! Thank you to @swim_Grinstead for hosting the East Grinstead event and well done to Halsford Park for bringing the trophy home!

Thanks to @WoodlandTrust, the children at Baldwins Hill planted 99 trees, with more planting planned!

Year 6 at Blackwell had a great class trip to Ashdown Forest for their evolution topic - even in the snowy March weather!

The children in KS1 and KS2 at Halsford Park were delighted to welcome Mr Godfrey from @WestSussexMusic for a special assembly on Tuesday. They were thrilled to hear and see live music being performed as he showed us his skills on clarinet and saxophone.

HP Year 5 had a really interesting visit from @mimsdavies on Friday. The children loved learning about her role as an MP and the House of Commons. Did you know that the parties face each other because they originally met in the stalls of a church? We didn't but we do now!
