People ask me why I’m so passionate about what’s happening at Lipscomb Academy. It’s because people I love walk those halls every day. Their future matters. OUR future matters. The future is our children…and what we instill in them now is what we leave behind. As a Christian school, Lipscomb should reflect Christ above all else. Students should be taught to root their identity in Him, to value purity, to walk in truth. Yet I see teachings and materials creeping in that confuse morality, cheapen innocence, and contradict the very faith this school claims to stand on. All I want is truth and transparency. Truth in what our children are being taught. Transparency from the leaders we entrust with their minds and hearts. If a Church of Christ school cannot be trusted to uphold biblical values, then who will? This is not about politics. It’s about the Gospel. It’s about raising up a generation who loves Jesus more than the world. Proverbs 22:6 tells us: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” That is the mission…not bending to cultural pressures. I speak out because silence helps no one. I speak out because I want these children…the ones I love and every single one of their classmates to know Jesus deeply, to discern truth from lies, and to carry their faith boldly into the world. The future of our children is worth protecting. Christ is worth honoring. And I will never stop asking for truth, transparency, and accountability from those entrusted to shepherd young hearts.

They are on a list of award winning books that is provided to rising seniors, from which students are given the option to choose books for summer reading, but are free to read books not on the list.

@jasonpratt_ @_ItsSavannah_ It started when some boys wore ties for Charlie Kirk, breaking dress code without clearance. They were asked to change, not punished. LA agreed to sanction something for the kids to organize in the near future. It was twisted to say the boys were punished and spiraled from there.
