@PittBorghetti Can you imagine a football coach today also being a professor of Bridge and Crown in the Dental School, @PittBorghett? Carnegie Tech coach Walter Steffan was a Judge in the Cook County Superior Court in Chicago. Football wasn't as all consuming as it is today, apparently!

The 1917 Pitt football team earned the nickname “Fighting Dentists,” a nod to a roster packed with dental students. #H2P
