for a new Star Fox game I really think it needs to be a sequel to Assault, there's so much potential to be had with Krystal as the new addition to the team and it's a good opportunity to introduce a new character and give Star Wolf their fourth guy to balance things out

"When was the last good Star Fox game?" is WHY the reaction is so big.
Assault perfected the formula (orchestrated OST, unapologetic epic space opera, great multiplayer) and Zero bafflingly made everything worse.
We've been starving for GOOD Star Fox news and THIS is good news.

According to @NateTheHate2 and VGC: Nintendo is planning a new Star Fox game, Zelda Ocarina of Time remake is coming and no new 3D Mario game this year!
- New Star Fox game this Summer
- Will have “very good” visuals and online multiplayer
- Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake this Holiday
- No new 3D Mario in 2026
- New 3D Mario game coming in 2027
- No general Nintendo Direct until June
