Coaches-when making a mound visit during a game, one of the most important things you can do is SMILE! No matter how good or bad things are going, the reassurance pitchers/players can get from that smile can be extremely beneficial even during the toughest games!

Players-you are in charge of your DEVELOPMENT! Most coaches (not all) can and will guide you with what to improve on if you don’t know. Don’t be afraid to ask and then be open to what you hear. Then it’s up to you to get better.

My goal with every hitter I work with is to help them learn to be their own hitting coach. They will have hitting coaches their entire career, but hitters need to know themselves, with what they do well, what they struggle with and how to work on both!
