🚨 A woman who killed her daughter by fracturing her skull, took a bath and bought a lottery ticket before taking her to hospital, a court heard. Sarah Ngaba, 32, formerly of Brookside, Telford, accepted she caused "life-shortening and life-limiting" head injuries to seven-week-old Eliza in 2019 but denied murder, claiming she was instead guilty of infanticide. Prosecutor Jonas Hankin KC said Eliza died aged two in 2022 from a respiratory infection after her injuries left her vulnerable. He told Birmingham Crown Court: "The only issue in this trial is whether the defence of infanticide applies. If it does, the defendant is guilty of infanticide. If it does not, she is guilty of murder." Opening the case on Monday, Hankin said Ngaba was previously convicted of causing grievous bodily harm. Eliza was born in east London on 19 September 2019, because Ngaba wanted to be near family members for her birth, the court heard. After returning to Telford, Eliza was taken to hospital after being attacked on 13 November, jurors heard. Hankin said it was agreed the head injuries inflicted by Ngaba were "a cause" of Eliza's death as they left her profoundly disabled and vulnerable to severe complications. "There is, therefore, no dispute that the defendant unlawfully caused Eliza Ngaba's death and she intended to cause her really serious harm," Hankin said. But the issue was whether the defence of infanticide applied, he added. Outlining the evidence, Hankin said on the morning of 13 November, a witness who saw Eliza on a video call "could see that her body was shaking". The man advised Ngaba to take the baby to hospital straight away but the defendant said she needed to have a bath and did not call an ambulance, the court heard. Instead she rang a taxi company at 08:13 and, despite being told no cars were available until 08:50 "settled for the taxi", jurors heard. Footage from a local supermarket at 8:59 showed her buying a lottery ticket and getting cash, the court was told. The taxi driver, who arrived at 9:05, described the defendant as very calm. Hankin added, of Ngaba's alleged behaviour at the hospital: "In triage and afterwards, staff described the defendant as annoyed, detached and concerned about housing rather than her baby's medical emergency." Hankin said the "prosecution says that this sequence of events is important. "Eliza was visibly shaking. The defendant was told to take her to A&E. An ambulance was suggested. She didn't call one. "She chose to bathe and dress first, accepted a delayed taxi, went to a supermarket, bought a lottery ticket, travelled calmly to hospital, and did not even rush when she got there. "That evidence is difficult to reconcile with the suggestion that the assault on Eliza was the product of an acute childbirth-caused disturbance of mind." Ngaba was also alleged to have told a nursing sister that Eliza had not fed since about 05:00 and made no reference to her having suffered any sort of physical trauma. "The impression she gave was that Eliza was simply unwell," Hankin told the court. The court heard Eliza's injuries were caused by forceful shaking "together with a very significant impact" to the head, causing a complex skull fracture. Referring to Ngaba's claim of infanticide, Hankin said the defence would say the "defendant's mind was disturbed, and it was disturbed at least in part because she had not fully recovered from the effects of giving birth". But he said the prosecution claimed the evidence did not justify such a conclusion. The trial continues. Source UK Database.

Teaching Assistant Who Abused Special Needs Children Jailed In Kent. A teaching assistant who preyed on children with special needs, has been jailed for four years after subjecting four disabled pupils to a campaign of cruel physical abuse. Danuska Pullia, of White Satin Close, Iwade, Kent, was sentenced at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, May 8, 2026, for four counts of child cruelty committed while working at a special needs school in Sittingbourne between September 2021 and 2023. Judge Catherine Moore branded the offences wicked as she jailed the 47 year old, who showed no remorse in the dock. Pullia, who still protests her innocence despite overwhelming evidence will serve two years behind bars and two on licence. Colleagues and parents raised the alarm after witnessing Pullia’s shocking behaviour towards youngsters with complex additional needs. The court heard she spat directly into a child’s face, regularly pinched noses and bodies hard enough to leave marks. Frequently hit and kicked vulnerable pupils, and administered other cruel and unusual punishments. The abuse left children in pain, with cuts, red marks, scratches and bruises. Some of the children in her care began flinching whenever she approached, a sign of the fear she instilled in them. One particularly disturbing incident involved Pullia pinching a child’s nose while trying to remove plastic from their mouth. In a voluntary police interview she casually demonstrated the action and admitted spitting at a pupil claiming they had spat at her first. The victims families spoke of their relief after a case that consumed their lives for more than two years finally came to an end. One mother said the ordeal had been traumatic beyond words, with her child showing clear signs of distress around Pullia. After the conviction in November 2025, families were heard crying in the public gallery. One relative told reporters: "We wanted justice, we don’t want any other child to go through what our children have gone through." Kent Police described Pullia as a danger to children. Officers launched their investigation after multiple staff members reported seeing the repeated abuse. Pullia denied all charges and claimed she had not harmed any children. During her trial she insisted: "I didn’t misbehave, I didn’t harm them. I didn’t do it." But a jury unanimously convicted her on all four counts after hearing evidence, including colleague testimony and her own admissions in interview. Pullia was taken into custody immediately to serve her four year sentence, her victims and their families can now move on and begin to heal, knowing the woman who caused them so much pain has finally been punished. #UKNews #CrimeNews #Kent

No this is not the Munsters weekend place. This is The Tramways Hotel in Bolton. Effectively a Hostel with 14 rooms, shared bathrooms that charges between £28 - £48 a night. So why were Bolton Council paying the Tramways Hotel £38,471 a month all last year and into this year? Lets split the difference and call it £38 a night. 14 rooms filled every month comes in at just under £16,000. 🤷‍♂️ This is one of many many jaw dropping payments made by Bolton Council on all manner of things, including loaded credit cards, taxis, interpreters, and even cupcakes. Multiple freedom of information requests will be going in, and a full expose will be coming your way courtesy of @TruthAsylum121 You will be stunned.

🚨 SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG IN BIRMINGHAM AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT. Let me lay out the facts for you. Verified. On the record. Thursday night — Glebe Farm and Tile Cross. Two seats. Workers Party wins one. Reform wins the other. The result is recounted. Same result. Recounted again. Same result. All parties present. All parties watching. Both times — identical. Then @BhamCityCouncil insists on a third recount — on Monday. And today — on the fourth count — Seven brand new ballot papers appear from nowhere. 🤔 Not found Thursday. Not found in recount one. Not found in recount two. Found today. After a weekend where the council couldn't be contacted by anyone. Now here is the part that should make every person in Birmingham sit up. The man who lost his seat to the Workers Party in this ward is @CllrJohnCotton. Not just any candidate. The leader of Birmingham City Council. And now — on the fourth attempt — seven votes appear. The @WorkersPartyGB led by six. Seven new votes. Six vote lead. You do the maths. Three counts. Same result every time. Every party watching. Then a weekend of silence. Then a fourth count nobody asked for. Then seven votes nobody can explain. This is not incompetence. This is not exhausted staff. This is not a clerical error. This is a question that every single person who believes in democracy needs to be asking right now. Where did those seven votes come from? Who had access to them over the weekend? Why did three counts miss them? And why is the mainstream media completely silent? The Electoral Commission needs to be all over this. Because if this can happen in Birmingham — it can happen anywhere. 🔍 Watch this space. #GlebeFarm #TileCross #JohnCotton #SevenVotes #ElectionIntegrity #Birmingham #WhereDidTheyComFrom #Democracy #Scandal #ElectoralCommission #BirminghamRising
Losrafascartel@Losrafascartel1

🚨 ASK YOURSELF ONE QUESTION. The Glebe Farm and Tile Cross count has a confirmed vote discrepancy. Multiple recounts. An elections officer who tried to walk away from being asked basic questions. Where is the mainstream media? No BBC breaking news alert. No Sky News live coverage. No Birmingham Live front page. No Channel 4 investigation. Nothing. A potential Workers Party councillor — one result away from holding the balance of power over £4.4 billion of Birmingham's public money — and the media that claims to hold power to account is completely and utterly silent. Now ask yourself why. Is it incompetence? Is it disinterest? Or is it something else entirely? Because the same media that will dedicate hours of coverage to a Labour press conference — the same journalists who will breathlessly report every word from Reform or the Conservatives — suddenly have nothing to say when the Workers Party is involved. They don't ignore us because we don't matter. They ignore us because we do. And if you need any more proof of how much the establishment fears this movement — Cast your mind back to when Rishi Sunak — the sitting Prime Minister of Great Britain — came out in the rain to make a public speech specifically condemning the Workers Party of Britain. The Prime Minister. Not Reform. Not the Greens. Not any independent candidate. The Workers Party. A man with the entire machinery of government behind him felt the need to stand in the rain and warn the British public about us. That is not the behaviour of someone who isn't scared. That is the behaviour of an establishment who looked at what we were building and understood exactly what it meant for the people who have run this country unchallenged for decades. Every establishment party hates us. Every mainstream media outlet ignores or attacks us. Every election official apparently can't count straight when we're involved. And yet here we are. Still standing. Still filming. Still asking questions they don't want answered. The establishment's silence on Glebe Farm and Tile Cross is not an accident. It is a choice. And Birmingham deserves to know why that choice is being made. We are watching. We are filming. And we are not going anywhere. Keep scoffing at us. Keep looking down your nose at us. It only makes us STRONGER 💪 #GlebeFarm #TileCross #WorkersParty #MediaSilence #WhereIsTheBBC #ElectionIntegrity #Birmingham #EstablishmentFears #RishiSunak #BirminghamRising #HoldThemAccountable
