My #sabbatical ended just last week. Spent a lot of time in London. But can't help reflect on my first sabbatical, back in 2007/8: five amazing months in Sydney (& Melbourne, Fiji, New Zealand). That was part of our #OpenCities project with #DFG #ARC funding.

8 June 1929 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Anna Bannet, was born in Rotterdam. She was arrested while trying to get to Switzerland. She was deported from Drancy to #Auschwitz on 23 June 1943. She did not survive.
