Decided to take myself on a local beef date
After the purchase, I was whining the aboki to give me more, he added to my purchase.
I said "Nagode" and he smiled, I wanted to learn something new in hausa so I asked him
"If I want to say "put more" in hausa, how do I say it"
He just smiled and cut small meat for me , I took it and asked again trying to elucidate my statement
This aboki just smiled and cut another meat for me
Tried again the third time and same results, he just cut another meat for me
It then became clear to me that he was intepreting my question as a request for more meat 😭
I told him not to worry and went home feeling bad like I cheated him
I sincerely didn't plan to do that

I went to church today with my girlfriend.
Since it's Easter Sunday, we wore a stunning matching white attire, she wore a high class bubu gown and I wore my big agbada, as a yoruba man that I am, the dressing is not complete without a cap so it took my cap with me.
When we got to church, everything was cool, I was holding my cap since I won't be wearing it during service.
As we were ushered in, we were even regarded as couples coz of how we dressed and we both love it
After service we decided to take some photos
I then used my cap, smiling and ready to take photos with my damsel but I noticed her change in countenance
I was curious immediately and asked why, she said nothing and said we should go home
I was like "go home as how nau", she was still wearing a strong face
Then I walked with her a bit to a more quiet place and persuaded her to tell me what was wrong
She said "you put your cap to the right"
I just started laughing coz whattt
Actually in yoruba land, your cap to the right means you're single and cap to the left means you're married (taken)
Just look at how much attention she paid to such little detail that she could have adjusted or told me to correct on spot
Women are just special beautiful beings. 😂❤️

I had a fun run with the Remeko Run game on the @remekoAI web app.
My very first trial had me hitting a run score of ~14,000km with about 55+ tokens.
Apparently, the game has been going on for a while now with WL spots allocation promised for top 25 players on the leaderboard.
Boy, I must admit this game is very fun and addictive to play...
If you're familiar with the Chrome browser offline mode game, then playing this should be a walk in the park for you.
The mechanics is very similar to that Dinosaur game, just little tweaks here and there to give players a more enhanced experience than the former.
Now, I don't exactly know how the LB spots would be allocated, but I know it's another opportunity for fans of the Remeko lore to snag a WL spot.
I still don't have a spot either, and if you haven't got any too, then maybe we're in similar boats rn. But not for long, I hope...
This is me publicly appealing to the team to consider my approval request. I may not be the artistic type, but one thing for sure is you'd always find me committed and actively supporting great initiatives as a community member, so far they resonate with me.
And like I said in my previous post, Remeko is one collection I'm really looking forward to. Not just for the art, but for the team's committment and approach towards transparency.

Rn, there are about 14k total users with just 168 approved so far, and prolly 25 more to join the list tomorrow.
My Quant tells me there's just gonna be 222 application approvals in total.
So there may not be as much spots left in the Allowlist unlike anyone might be thinking cos of the supply size.
Please vouch for me too if you already got approval. It'd really mean a lot ngl :)
