Incredible how you aren’t allowed to go against the status quo opinion when being a public figure. Establishment is rotten to the core

@NM_Rdg @linmeitalks Why shouldn't he? He has to make any of the big decisions, make it attractive to new investors, keep everything legal, make sure the right management system is in place etc. are you seriously suggesting he should earn as much as someone who pushes trolleys?

So what do you think a man running one of the biggest supermarkets in the world (top 5) with all the liabilities on his head should be on? £150k? You people are out of touch! 😂 Tesco has significantly increased its profits and strengthened its market dominance since 2019 as a result of Ken Murphy. The CEO’s salary of £10 million for the latest financial year, was not a basic liquid salary but consisted of performance related bonuses and shares. Also Tesco has announced a £200 million investment in salary increases for its store and warehouse staff. From March 29, 2026, hourly pay will rise by 5.1% to £13.28, with London workers receiving £14.55 . This investment reflects that under the current CEO, Ken Murphy, Tesco has delivered a strong financial performance, with market share at its highest level in over a decade and the company expecting to report profits at the upper end of its £2.9 billion to £3.1 billion guidance .

Did You Know ? Tesco CEO Ken Murphy’s pay stands at nearly £10m a year = £27,400 a day and doesn’t pay a penny in tax to the UK He earns 430 x the average Tesco employees who pays tax That doesn’t seem fair to me

Tesco pay £6bn in UK taxes every year. He doesn't pay personal tax here because he doesn't live in the UK. £10m a year is cheap for a CEO running a profitable billion pound business providing 340k jobs.... He should really be on about 5x that.

Following a serious medical incident at a neighbouring tennis club yesterday, kick-off in the match between Chard Town FC and Congresbury was delayed. A member of the tennis club suffered a cardiac arrest and is currently receiving intensive care at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton. Encouragingly, early signs are positive, and our thoughts are with them and their family. Somerset FA would like to recognise the outstanding actions of young referee Ben Houghton. He responded immediately, administering CPR before the use of a defibrillator, prior to the arrival of emergency services, including both ambulance and air ambulance crews. His quick thinking, composure and respect for the situation were truly commendable and may well have helped save a life. This incident is a powerful reminder of the vital importance of having defibrillators available at sports facilities, and ensuring individuals are confident in how to use them. Moments like this put everything into perspective.

One of the biggest dangers to the UK is this bloke & his band of supporters. Some are just painfully ignorant, some worryingly naive, some are in it for the wrong reasons. All together will spell hell for this country. And that’s coming from a vegan.

I've seen literally thousands of people today alone. Labour are done. People aren't just excited by the Green Party - they're out on the streets campaigning to win. Hope and a plan. Join.greenparty.org.uk
