Photos like these are basically brand promotion initiatives. Its a part of the business deal - something which has to be done by a football club to promote sponsors in exchange of sponsors paying money for the women football team of East Bengal.

The system is not hugely different from regular academics wherein you have -
1) Teachers for primary school
2) Teachers for high school
3) Teachers for colleges
The same applies for coaches on football. Not every coach can efficiently do job at every level.

Definitely ! After the elections, it would be highly appreciated if GoWB collaborates with AIFF & hires a few foreign coaches to train coaches of Bengal who work on:
1 ) grassroot ( to create Achyut , Bagha Shome types )
2 ) teens before they move to senior ( Amal Dutta types )

Nothing happens automatically. You need to 1st set up a system.

You need to then validate that process.
Lets forget ecosystem but at bare minimum we need good coaches to teach the kids at grassroot level.

Even world´s best coach would struggle to deliver with these bunch of players.
The entire system needs an overhauling & that starts with developing proper coaches for grassroot level.
Till that happens the system will generate junk players.

We need competent grassroot level coaches to train our coaches. Usually those coaches are not of high profile.
We actually need 2 types of foreign coaches to train coach-
1) who can train kids (grassroot-Achyut Banerjee type)
2) Who can train teens ( Amal Dutta / Alejandro type )

@QEBNA Supply line of quality domestic talents is contingent upon presence of technically sound coaches. For that the coaches do need proper training and experience. Not sure how many high profile coaches will come to India to work at the grassroots level however, if the….
