DISGRACED KENT POLICE SERGEANT SLAPPED WITH SEXUAL RISK ORDER AFTER BEING CAUGHT NAKED IN CHATHAM PARK A former Kent Police sergeant found naked near a children's play area in Chatham has been placed under a five-year Sexual Risk Order after a judge ruled he acted for sexual gratification and rejected his explanations as "evasive and untruthful." Simon Ince, 52, was first spotted without clothes in woodland off Vale Drive by dog walkers on February 1, 2024. Body-worn camera footage played in court showed officers pursuing him through the park. When told he was being arrested for exposure, Ince responded: "I know, I'm a police officer." At the scene he claimed he had only gone for a wee, adding: "As you can see, I have been running. I am sweating." Judge Brown was unsparing: "I do not accept for a moment that he took his clothes off because he was too warm. He did it for sexual gratification." He added that Ince "enjoyed the thrill of doing it outdoors" and concluded simply: "I did not believe Mr Ince's evidence." Ince was dismissed from the force, ordered to pay £2,516 in costs, and banned from the park. He faces up to five years in prison if he breaches the order.
