So far Starmer has faced no price for misleading Parliament on the Mandelson appointment. If you are serious about consequences, don't just ask him to resign at PMQs, table a substantive motion finding him in contempt or refer the matter to the Privileges Committee. That's the parliamentary action that enforces the 'price' everyone supposedly knows.
