@PabloVidalRibas Editing for the first time, and shocked at the demanding tone of the journal's template emails to potential reviewers (which I change) and the frequency/tone of emails to chase up reviewers (which I can't change, and only found out about by chance). Not sure I'd review for them.

I am editor in a journal. The last time a reviewer accepted my invitation to review was June 29. Currently, I have a ms with 22 invitations (I´ve had more), none accepted. Is it just me? Am I the only one reviewing ms for everyone else? (And yes, I came here to complain)

🧵I’ve read through the evidence section—the first 85 pages—of Jack Smith filing on Trump’s private criminal efforts to stay in power despite knowing that he’d lost the election. The evidence is stunning. It’s clear why Trump did not want the public to see this testimony. 13 things jumped out to me on Trump’s attempt to defraud the American people and steal the 2020 election.

I am happy to announce that I was promoted to full professor in Chemical Biology. I hope to continue to contribute to the field of chemical probe development, mentor my co-workers to the best of my ability and teach in stimulating and innovative ways to undergraduate students.
