This partnership reflects a shared commitment between the Baltimore Ravens and Nottingham Girls’ Academy to promote physical activity, teamwork and leadership through sport. The Ravens’ Centre of Excellence & Development opening is the largest franchise run clinic in the UK to date, with 740 total attendees.

As part of the event, students took part in a Q&A session with elite athletes including Olympic medalist and world champion boxer Caroline Dubois, three-time Taekwondo world champion and double Olympic medalist Bianca Cook, and former Great Britain American football captain and NFL Global Flag Football Ambassador, Phoebe Schecter. The session provided students with insight into high-performance sport, leadership and the growing opportunities for women in American football.

The Baltimore Ravens have today announced the opening of a new Flag Football Centre of Excellence & Development at Nottingham Girls’ Academy, further strengthening the organisation’s commitment to growing the sport at grassroots level in the UK.
