@TappingTheKeg No way y'all read it and look at Giannis as the bad guy 😂

"This is as toxic of a team situation as any in the league": Inside the lost season of the 2025-26 Milwaukee Bucks and the fractured relationship between the franchise and its cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo. espn.com/nba/story/_/id…

Tremendous stuff in here. Giannis is understandably conflicted and frustrated, but definitely still open to staying.

@Brandon_Sneide Everything is a stretch lol

Before Friday's game, Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke to local reporters, insisting that he's healthy and the Bucks aren't letting him play. "I want to f—-ing play." - Antetokounmpo At @TheAthletic: nytimes.com/athletic/71619…

An NBA spokesperson in response to its Milwaukee Bucks-Giannis Antetokounmpo investigation: “The NBA’s Player Participation Policy investigation into the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo is ongoing and certain facts remain in dispute. The investigation has found that the Bucks scheduled Giannis to work out last week in three-on-three scrimmages as part of his return-to-play process, but he declined to participate. There is a disagreement as to whether the team requested that Giannis participate in a group workout earlier this week, and the league is continuing to monitor the situation.”

The Brooklyn Nets are signing guard Malachi Smith to a two-year contract, sources tell ESPN. Smith averaged 7.3 points and 2.1 rebounds across two 10-day contracts with the Nets after playing for the team’s Long Island G League affiliate, and now lands a full standard deal.

Joel Embiid was asked about why he didn't play against Washington on Wednesday. He did not hold back. "I was pissed off. I wanted to play basketball. I wasn't allowed to play basketball. I think this is more of a question for Daryl Morey." Full answer 👇

If this is what ultimately triggers a divorce between Giannis and the Bucks, it would truly be a sad way to end the long-standing relationship after everything the two sides have been through together.

Some Bucks players have reportedly lost confidence in Doc Rivers’ coaching style, per @BrettSiegelNBA “Nothing has gone right for the Bucks in quite some time, and while Doc Rivers is certainly not to blame for all of the organization's flaws, his 95-99 record since taking over in Milwaukee is extremely underwhelming. Not to mention, multiple sources relayed that there is a lack of confidence among several Bucks players in Rivers' style of coaching.” (Via clutchpoints.com/nba/nba-storie…)
