Attached is a screenshot from Stellarium.org showing constellations in the southern sky where the Sun transits during winter. Currently the Sun is in the opposite region, making it easy to observe these patterns with the naked-eye. Fine, but what do I mean by "patterns"? That would be the star-to-star designs immediately recognizable to the naked due to the clustering of prominent stars. It is a fact of naked-eye skywatching that there is ony one constellational pattern that strikingly resembles the creature associated with it. You can see it here: the pattern (called signature) of that one constellation does resemble a Scorpion with stinger, trunks, head and claws (extending toward the Balance, or Scales). What you see in this celestial creature is, first, the signature or star-to-star pattern, with the distinct feature of the curved stinger, and then you picture or visualize the creature. You combine observation and visualization to detect the Scorpion (not the sign Scorpio, which is starless!!!). Now try that with the Archer (not the sign Sagittarius!!!). The signature pattern does not immediately translate into the visualization of an Archer, does it? The visualization could be fashioned in various ways. Skywatching guides advise to picture the signature as a teapot, and it has been pictured in different ways in different cultures. Decades of skywatching combined with investigation of the world-wide lore of sidereal mythology (the study of constellations directly linked to myth and legend) led to me conclude that veteran skywatchers must have taught their students how to visualize a signature. You see the Archer if you are told how to picture it, matching stars to body and gesture. And what do you see? Do you notice something about this region of the sky, called the Correction Tableau? Do you notice how the star marking the elbow of the Archer stands in line with three others extending down the arm to the forward hand? If you are taught to observe that alignment, you see immediately how the Archer aims for a star in the body of the Scorpion. My method of skywatching assumes sky/ground mirroring. It does not postulate that stars or events in the sky cause events on Earth. The Archer-Scorpion event pictured here does not cause anything to happen, but it can be read to mirror events that are happening. And, better still, it can mirror actions, projects, and initiative intentionally undertaken on the ground. The release of the Triple Blaze is such an action.
