UNLV diehard. Scientist/critical thinker. Z28.310. Politically homeless, they all suck. I tend to follow back people w/actual common sense and I block morons.

@tarkaniang @TonyDasco I had him for a bio class too, I also took an ornithology class for some reason, that was his specialty. He loved those birds. But I took everything science, didn’t matter what the class was. After getting the basics out of the way, I was always on that side of campus.

@tarkaniang @TonyDasco It was Dr. Baepler. I was taking a science class from him during our heyday, we’d sit and talk about the Rebels after class. He loved your dad. Hated the admin that was against him.

From what my parents told me, my father was like a yo yo on the decision. Everytime my father leaned on going back to LB State UNLV pushed harder. Presidrmt Horn (i believe that is his name) told my father UNLV was a "lateral move at best" and that he needs to commit to LB State or he couldnt hold the press conference on the campus. That pushed my father to make the decision to go to UNLV. My mother told me that the UNLV President (i think its Baepler, not positive) found out about my father being hired from the press. The syary goes he first met my father at the press conference.

@PatrickBeckwit1 @TonyDasco Maybe. I thought the ‘87 elite eight game vs Iowa was second best. But even the GT game in 1990. There’s a few to choose from.

@TonyDasco The second greatest win after Duke in 90. Eliminating Lute and #1 Arizona was epic.

@GeoffGrammer @LouisLobo496622 @TheHowlLine How dare you, Geoff? You didn’t take into account the quality of opponent. It’s easier to hit three pointers against Air Force than Duke. So you need to break it down even further, perhaps taking the number of threes vs the NET ranking of a particular opponent. Get to work

No, it's really not. If this was a list of number of games played in a season and not the number of 3-pointers made in a season, then maybe you'd be right. But the most important number on a list of who made the most 3-pointers in a season is, you guessed it, the number of 3-pointers made in a season. Nevertheless, I'll let the NCAA and UNM know they should do better. These are, after all, stats compiled and published in their record books, the same way ever sports league compiles season long stats with raw numbers. A player who played one game and hit six 3-pointers would, after all, have the record here for most 3pointers made if we were going for average, which is what you suggest is "just as important" and is the only "accurate"way to show this, which of course is just you showing us all your way of communicating on here in ways that you think make you sound like an authority, when you're clearly not. But since you have a hard time doing much of anything on your own other than obsessing over me and complaining about the work I do while eating up all the content so thoroughly while also making up stories about having Lobo Club friends who also apparently sit around and have me on their mind all the time, here's the work for you... 1. Antoine Davis - 132 in 30 games (4.4/game) 2. Steph Curry - 122 in 34 games (3.6/game) 3. Trae Young - 118 in 37 games (3.7/game) t4. Jake Hall - 113 in 35 games (3.2/game) t4. Jamaal Murray - 113 in 36 games (3.1/game) t4. Isaiah Joe - 113 in 34 games (3.3/game)

@DerrickEvans4WV A nation should take care of everyone. But when they especially don’t take care of farmers, vets, and the elderly while protecting the children, the nation is lost, it’s morally bankrupt.

@Rebel_Net @Nico00796974 I think the frustration a lot of MWC fans is the constant discontent from a couple of universities fan bases! If it happens so be it. Going forward I will focus my attention on the schools happy to be in or who are joining the conference!

Try to step back from being a UNLV fan for a second. A) you can return to UNLV for x dollars and play in the new MWC, think of the games, TV, of NCAAT opportunity. B) you can go to a big conference school for x+y dollars and think of their NCAAT chances. Bad spot for UNLV.

@Nico00796974 @wyovowboys4ever When UNLV was reeling in the bucks during our heyday, had we paid attention to football instead of the Strong’s and Nunnely’s, etc … we’d be where we wish to be, imo. We acted too little, too late.

100%! It is football. I am born and raised in Vegas. If you would have told me growing up football was going to help basketball get back on track. I would have said no way. If you would have told me we would have an NFL team and host a Super Bowl (which I went to). I would have asked what asylum you escaped from! Haha.

@Nico00796974 @wyovowboys4ever I don’t think hoops matters much when it comes to conference appeal. It’s football, but it’s more than that. I think venue matters, TV footprint, I think Vegas itself provides a not necessary, but big side plus that many don’t have … travel, city appeal, tourism, etc.

@JTTheBrick UNLV was a planned, very temporary stop for Otz. He expended zero energy/effort/resources at UNLV. He was biding his time. Favors were done at a higher level. It screwed UNLV for 6 years …

@AnthemRebel @JTTheBrick UNLV was wallowing in insignificance, fanbase bolting, it was very vulnerable. She gets what she wants. He gets what he wants. And then UNLV shoehorns the next coach with zero resistance. Three for three. Fans pay, program pays.

TJ Otzelberger is one hell of a coach. Too bad a city with the Bellagio, Wynn-Encore, Fountainbleau, Shadow Creek, Southern Highlands, Red Rock, Sphere and Allegiant Stadium couldn’t keep him and build something special. I guess Ames, Iowa has more going for it than Vegas?
