@comeswithblades It isn't the place that makes this home. It's her scent on the linen, the dip in the couch where it's clear she favors one side over the other. The hollow of her empty slippers, the lipstick stain on the coffee mug that's slowly fading.
He just can't bring himself to say it.

So he'll do that. Right here, until she's back. Her place feels better anyway.
