⚖️COURT UPDATE⚖️Cardi B has now filed a supplemental sanctions brief in Tasha K’s bankruptcy case, telling the Florida bankruptcy court that Tasha committed yet another non-disparagement violation after the original motion was already on file. In the April 22nd supplement, Cardi B says Tasha K used new social-media posts on April 21, 2026 to indirectly discuss Cardi B again while also publicly mischaracterizing what the confirmed bankruptcy plan actually requires. According to the filing, the new alleged violation centers on a public shoutout Tasha K gave to Milagro Elizabeth Cooper after a ruling in the separate Megan Pete V. Milagro Cooper case. Cardi B’s side says Tasha used that post not just to congratulate Milagro, but to tell followers she was not really bound in the way people think, claiming she was “not even on an NDA,” that she was only ordered not to disparage Cardi, and suggesting she could later choose to “reinstate” discussion of Cardi once “the case is over.” The supplement argues those statements themselves violate the confirmed plan because the non-disparagement clause bars both direct and indirect public commentary about Cardi B. Cardi’s lawyers also accuse Tasha K of using the Milagro ruling as a legally false comparison. The supplement says Pete v. Cooper involved a proposed court-imposed injunction under Florida cyberstalking law and prior-restraint doctrine, while Tasha K’s obligations arise from a court-confirmed bankruptcy plan that she voluntarily negotiated and accepted. In other words, Cardi’s side says Tasha is wrongly trying to frame a binding plan obligation as though it were just an optional speech restriction she can reinterpret for her audience. The filing goes further by saying Tasha’s public statements falsely minimize the underlying defamation case too. Cardi’s side says Tasha told followers she was only restricted over statements “made from another person on her platform,” while the supplement insists she was found liable for her own repeated defamatory publications and is now intentionally misleading her audience about both the judgment and the confirmation order. There’s also a second pressure point in the supplement, Cardi B’s team tells the court that Tasha K is allegedly in default on quarterly reporting and payment obligations under the confirmation order as well. The filing says that as of April 22nd, no post-confirmation quarterly operating report had been filed for the quarter ending March 31, 2026, and no quarterly plan payment had been received. The supplement says those issues are separate from the non-disparagement dispute, but still show a broader pattern of noncompliance.
