The Police Reforms Working Group Kenya and the @LawSocietyofKe strongly condemn the violent attack by armed goons on a press conference by Kenyan mothers hosted at @thekhrc office today. This is a direct assault on Kenya's constitutional freedoms, the press, and civil society.

@ReformsGroup Statement on the re-emergence of Ndiangui Kinyagua. As we wait for further information on the circumstances around his disappearance, we note that the spike in abductions and prolonged unlawful detention has caused national intimidation and deep fear among many Kenyans. We urge the @NPSOfficial_KE to address this trust deficit and the fear by disbanding the multi-agency units and arrest the commanders and officers involved in the cases of enforced disappearances documented by several human rights organisations.
