Attending the final meeting this morning of the SR6 Commission. We unanimously passed the final report which picked the best legislation to address the critical needs of Fire Depts and EMS Depts throughout the Commonwealth.

I voted in favor of a bill that would eliminate suspending a person’s driver’s license if convicted of crimes related to drug offenses. Returning to work and driving is imperative for those re-entering the workforce. #HB163 now awaits @GovernorTomWolf 's signature.

Important Real ID Update: It has just been announced that Homeland Security has granted PA an extension on Real ID enforcement. That means there will be no restrictions to use your Pennsylvania driver's license to fly or access federal buildings through July 2019
