Last Friday I had the humbling honor of attending the Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial service. Four names added to the wall this year. Undersheriff Brandon Gaede, Deputy Elijah Ming, Officer Hunter Simoncic, Sergeant Scott Heimann. Each one put on a badge and didn't make it home.

Kansans in rural communities need reliable access to quality health care. That’s why I advocated for a historic $222 million last year to be directed to Kansas to support rural health care access and initiatives, including our 2nd District. I’ll keep working to help strengthen hospitals, providers, and patient care across our region.

Overdose deaths are trending down in Kansas. Every person we pull back from the edge of this crisis is somebody's child, and their life matters. This is pro-life work. #ksleg

This is why the work of #ksleg has been so important over the last few years, and I'm proud to help lead that charge. Testing strips. Good Samaritan law. Expanded narcan access. Fentanyl education in Kansas high schools. Stronger penalties for those pushing this poison.

This is an absolutely dumb idea. Once again, abolish the NCAA.
