40 mentors are in training in Kenema for the 3-year Financial Inclusion & Innovation Hub (FIIH) project! 🇸🇱 This initiative, funded by @JOA_Aid, will empower 5,000 marginalized women in Freetown & Moyamba, including GBV survivors and women with disabilities. #FinancialInclusion

We are happy to announce the ongoing 7-day Volunteer Foundation Training for our Livelihood, Inclusion, Food, and Energy (LIFE) project at the Pastoral Center in Kenema. 20 young women are receiving mentorship, & life skills to empower them for the successful project rollout.

Heartbroken to share the passing of Matilda Fears Sapateh, our Senior Programme Coordinator for the AU–EU Youth Voice Lab. Matilda tirelessly amplified young people's voices, strengthening cross-continental collaboration. Her dedication to youth empowerment will be deeply missed.

Our reps Haja Mariama Bangura & Dennis Combey represented @RestDevSalone in person & online respectively at the African Resilience Forum in Abidjan. We focused on using Outcomes-Based Finance (OBF) to invest directly in youth-led peace initiatives.

Last Thursday, our Empower Her team hosted a meeting in Moyamba with stakeholders, presenting findings on the implementation of the Radical Inclusion policy. Goal is to Work with @MBSSE_SL to identify gaps & create a roadmap for effective policy implementation.

Last week, our FIIH project team held a three-day inception meeting with partners @EnergyNexusNet & @MikashBoks. We aligned on strategies for effective collaboration and reviewed key project goals, from our safeguarding protocols to our MEL plans. All thanks to @JerseyOAC
