And it’s interesting how they’ll try to excuse the flaws of 343’s games and call Bungie Halo fans out for saying theirs don’t (which certainly isn’t true, I can admit a good handful).
But none of those flaws are as drastic as 343’s Halo’s and that’s a fact.

I’d say it’s the most important book alongside The Fall of Reach.
And if you’re too busy to read, definitely check out the audiobook!
It has a decent narrator, and Jen Taylor (VA of Cortana) is featured to voice sections as well!

But due to their lighting engine being too strong for the OG Xbox, they had to do a bit of crunch time, cut things out and deliver a cliffhanger ending.

If 343’s gutter trash was good Xbox wouldn’t be a rotting corpse. Bungie’s 5 masterpieces in a row are the whole reason Xbox was taken seriously in the 2000s, even with the red ring of death plaguing the 360 because the games were just that good

I have spent thousands of hours with Halo games that released after the original creators left the series. It’s been a largely positive experience and I wouldn’t take any of it back.

If it wasn’t, 343 wouldn’t have gone back on their artstyle and even their gameplay to begin with.
