If we define “standard regeneration” as an onscreen transition between doctors where we see the change and nothing “different” happens (clothes change/split/watcher etc) Then I’d just like to point this out to everyone…

@emmmilysm Because he was gonna make Susan Poppy’s daughter (in a now deleted scene) making her the granddaughter descended from the 15th Doctor not the 1st and making Susan being from his future for most of his life so far.
