Even though it's not mentioned in the zone, my current headcanon as to how the Cradle existed before the World Trees is that *these* are the roots of Elun'ahir. It would explain why Aman'thul was SO adamant on ripping the tree out: it allowed Life to reach the Worldsoul first.

@ProtEmpress On the bright side you can now level a blood elf from level 1, and then get to return home to a healed land. Leveling blood elf just became the best!

@Riddle736 @Portergauge Blood knights can still call on the light the same way humans and Draenei can.

I wonder if the campaign chapter next week will mention whether or not the Sunwell is actively killing the Blood Elves like last time. They had to destroy it in WC3 to prevent its necromantic energy from corrupting them, and I imagine the Darkwell would be significantly worse.

@Typerighting I basically have/had the same opinion, I really LIKE that Midnight is a smaller-scope, limited-time story to *prevent* an invasion on the level of Legion that would need the whole world. ...it just sucks that next week's story entirely invalidates this with the night elves lmao

Mind you I like the idea of this all happening so fast that the Alliance and or the Horde simply could not muster enough forces in time to prevent the Sunwell's destruction - I don't want them to just teleport to the Sunwell like the Vanguard did.

Still genuinely dont understand why STORY MODE a mode that gives NO GEAR WHATS SO EVER is timegated. Imagine just wanting to see the story (lol i know) that this game horribly offers and Blizzard decides no you wait a week and get spoiled online.
