You ship. You hustle. You iterate. But are people actually finding what you built? I audited GitHub (yes, THE GitHub): ❌ Title = random brand name spam ❌ H1 = placeholder text ❌ 17 images, zero alt text ❌ No schema markup Even a $7.9B company ships with broken SEO. Don't let invisible fundamentals kill your organic growth. roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU…

Engineers: you built a clean, fast, optimized site. But did you check if anyone can actually FIND it? I audited GitHub's homepage: ❌ Title tag = brand name soup ❌ H1 = search placeholder text ❌ 17 images with no alt text ❌ Zero schema markup Performance: 100/100 SEO: Broken fundamentals What's the point of Lighthouse perfection if your organic traffic is invisible? roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU…

Your B2B SaaS could have the best product, but if your site has broken SEO fundamentals, you're invisible to buyers. I just audited GitHub (yes, THAT GitHub) and found: ❌ Title tag stuffed with random brand names ❌ H1 is literally placeholder text ❌ 17 images missing alt text ❌ Zero schema markup Even a $7.9B company has these blind spots. What's costing YOU organic leads? roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU…

@antima_singh001 And if you DO start shipping, make sure people can find what you built. SEO mistakes kill traction before you get a chance: ❌ Bad title tags ❌ No H1 structure ❌ Missing alt text ❌ Zero schema Launch smart, not invisible. roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU… #saas

Portfolio helps you land clients. But if your portfolio site ranks nowhere on Google, it doesn't matter how good your work is. Make sure your portfolio site has: ✅ Clean title tags ✅ Proper H1 structure ✅ Alt text on ALL images ✅ Schema markup Get found first. roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU… #webdev

Speed matters, but broken SEO costs you customers before they even see your product. Your site might be fast but still: ❌ Title tags optimized for nothing ❌ Missing H1s or H1s that make no sense ❌ Zero schema markup ❌ Images with no alt text Build fast. But build RIGHT. roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU… #buildinginpublic

Most indie hackers never find out their site is bleeding conversions until it's too late. Just audited GitHub's homepage (yeah, THAT GitHub) and found: ❌ Title tag stuffed with random brand names ❌ H1 is literally the search placeholder text ❌ 17 images missing alt text ❌ No schema markup at all Even giants have blind spots. What's hiding on YOUR site? roastweb.com/r/QaLywrwO8LNU…

Built a website auditing tool with Next.js 14 and wanted to share the tech choices. What it does: Scans websites and generates reports on performance, SEO, accessibility, and security in about 10 seconds. Next.js setup: - App Router for the new features - Server Actions for the scan submissions - Streaming for incremental report loading - Edge Runtime for the API routes (needed fast cold starts) Integrations: - Lighthouse API (this was painful, took a week to get consistent results) - Firebase Admin SDK for rate limiting - DeepSeek AI for generating fix recommendations - Cloudflare Turnstile instead of reCAPTCHA Biggest win: Using Server Components for the report pages. Cut the bundle size by 40% compared to my initial client side approach. Biggest challenge: Browser fingerprinting for abuse prevention. Needed it to work without user accounts. Deployed on Railway. 6.71s load time currently (need to optimize that). roastweb.com What would you do differently with the Next.js architecture?

Just shipped a free tool for indie makers who need to audit client sites or their own products. The problem: Running PageSpeed, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, SecurityHeaders... then spending 20 minutes compiling everything into something a client can understand. The solution: roastweb.com One scan. 15+ categories. AI powered fixes. Done in 10 seconds. Categories: performance, SEO, accessibility, security, mobile, social, privacy, schema, images, third party scripts, and more. Best part: Free tier gets ALL features. 3 full scans per day. No paywalling the good stuff. Built it with Next.js 14 + Firebase + DeepSeek AI. Took about 2 months of nights and weekends. Would love feedback from other makers. What features would make this actually useful for your workflow?

Built a free website auditing tool and figured this community would find it useful. What it does: Scans your site in ~10 seconds and gives you a full report on performance, SEO, accessibility, security, and 11 other categories. Plus AI powered fix recommendations you can copy paste straight into Claude/ChatGPT. Why I built it: Got tired of running 5 different tools every time I needed to audit a client site. PageSpeed for performance, Lighthouse for accessibility, SecurityHeaders for SSL checks... then manually compiling everything into a report. Free tier: 3 full audits per day with ALL features included. No paywalling categories or making you upgrade to see the real issues. Would love feedback from other SaaS founders. What would make this more useful for your workflow? roastweb.com
