I don’t think the two are very similar.
Hurley is insane, but all his vitriol seems directed at the refs.
Cronin routinely throws his own players under the bus and in general seems like a miserable human who would be terrible to play for.

People really don’t talk enough about how terrible of a reputation Nate Oats has created for himself & his team at Alabama. 4 players have been involved in criminal offenses since 2023, Oats put his hands on an opponent’s player, and he tried to illegally add a professional basketball player onto his team mid season this year.

Alabama’s Aden Holloway has been arrested with a pound of weed in his apartment. Holloway is the second leading scorer on the team. I’m sure noted disciplinarian Nate Oats will levy a severe punishment.

Personally, I really enjoy 'Arkansas Cal' immensely, he's like you're grandfather with a crazy blazer and a billion dollars, but...
his insistence on s-p-e-a-k-i-n-g so slow and acting like every word he utters in an interview is so relevant to the state of college basketball is EXHAUSTING

I'm old enough to remember when Kentucky fans would be heading to Bridgestone right now to try and buy tickets off the losers of the opening game in the SEC tournament instead of heading to a late lunch after kicking the tourney off.
