A very powerful message, and I'm sure I'm not the only person with a disability this resonates with. Definitely a video everyone should watch and share.

Haven't been on here in a while, but, trying to be better. So, for anybody who cares, or is even remotely interested, doing the London marathon next year. Mind is abuzz with ideas for fundraising. Look out for the things to come.

@BlindGirlVlogs Fair. Suppose I didn't really look into customising the double click cause I use ApplePay a fair bit and find it very convenient.

@RobinB96 You're correct that double-clicking the Side Button typically brings up Apple Pay, but it can also be customised to perform other functions, like unlocking a nearby Mac or iPhone. 😊

This one popped up today: Is sign language different from subtitles. Yes. The key word is language. Subtitles capture the words. Sign Language conveys language. With semantics, intonation, linguistics.. and so much more. Together, they empower inclusivity. 🤟

Don’t get defensive when disabled people tell you something you've created, or your business, or an activity you're planning isn’t accessible. We’re not telling you this as a personal attack. It's because we want to access it but can’t, and you're the one who can change that.

@ConnorScottG Not the app, but I remember when I was job hunting, a fair few applications used the Workday platform, and it wasn't the most accessible. It was a few years ago though, so can't speak on specifics. Not the most helpful sorry.

Are any other blind people using the Workday app at work? How are you finding it? A whole lot of unlabelled buttons over here...

I haven't kept up with Braille displays and technology, but incredibly useful and such a life saver when I used them in school.
