GRESFORD ATHLETIC APPOINT DAVE EVANS AS NEW MANAGER

Last night Gresford Athletic held a successful committee meeting with a great turnout. The new committee is focussed on ensuring every upcoming fixture goes ahead as planned. The key future goal is for Gresford Athletic to remain a thriving and successful local football club. In short, the meeting was a big step in the right direction, showing the club's dedication to the security of our local football team.

Hi all, we still have a couple of spaces available if anyone is looking for a place for their 5 or 6 year old to join us for this season.

Club chairman Andy Davies said ‘We are delighted to welcome Lee to the club , Lee has been with us during pre season and after a few conversations it was clear our ambition for the club was the same. Lee’s experience from his playing days being at some very high profile teams will only help the club move forward and attract players to help us reach our goals, we’re excited for what the future holds and extremely proud to have Lee with us. We look forward to our first game of the new season tomorrow with Lee at the helm’

⭐️CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT ⭐️ Brymbo Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Lee Phelan as the new First Team Manager. As a player Lee has made countless appearances for clubs such as Cefn Druids, Buckley Town, Mold Alexandra, Lex and our very own Brymbo Fc . Lee has also had experience on a managerial level at Lex Vets and TNS Futsal and was assistant manager 4 years ago at Brymbo when Ricky Evans was at the helm. Lee has been around the club all through pre season and his name around the area has helped us attract players and more to follow in the near future. Lee will be assistant by ex Brymbo manager Colin Parry and coach Brian Potts and player/coach Tom Potts. We are excited to be on this journey together. Welcome onboard Phelo 🟠⚫️

The league as it is now - is an u21s league where teams can have up to 4 overage players in the squad and on the field at any time. Idea behind it is to improve development for 1st team

@GresfordFC @Rowly_01 It is also down to Rowly and Josh that the U17's were included in the senior set up this season, (something they had to push hard for after being pushed back) and integrated their players from the start. So there is a lot to thank him for.

@GresfordFC There will be plenty of opinions on this, my own included. But the thing I want to say is that @Rowly_01 deserves a lot of praise. He took on a team with 0 players. Assembled a squad and finished last season just behind the academy sides. Some achievement 👏🏻

@rob_reynolds00 previous seasons, it's been a pleasure to watch you grow as a team, and I'm immensely proud of how far you've come since having to completely rebuild 3 years seasons ago when the club was left without a Reserves team. You've been a credit to me, yourselves and the club.

@rob_reynolds00 A massive achievement to reintroduce the youth section (u17s) into the senior setup. It's been a pleasure to include over half of them in our squads over the season. I personally would just like to thank all of my players for everything they've put in this season and
