Our council leader, Cllr Gareth Williams (pictured), has welcomed the decision of our planning committee to give the green light for our new leisure centre. Work is scheduled to start in late June, with completion in late 2027, subject to final legal agreements.

Finally visited #Liverpool and I think it’s the friendliest city I’ve been to! Everyone was really helpful, was even offered to help with directions without asking!

@sainsburys please can you sort the wifi in your Camberley Watchmoor Park store? It’s never very reliable and 4g is unavailable. Makes using the Smart Shop almost impossible! You have to hold things until you get a good spot and then scan loads in one go!!

@SCJ37 Hi Sarah - The original plans were revised earlier this year when it became clear that they were not affordable. We did consider how a sports hall would fit into the mix, but unfortunately, we decided that this was not financially viable for us or a leisure centre operator.
