Vocabulary words are in motion in Mrs. Koehn’s 1st grade class, as students have created movement to match each of their 20 vocabulary words. These motions help them to memorize the meaning of each word. We can’t wait to see how many the learn by the end of the year!

Mrs. Wildman’s 3rd Grade class worked as teams to beat the clock, as they looped a lifesaver around a gummy worm. The only catch was they couldn’t use their hands, only paper clips as tools. Students had a blast coming up with new ideas and strategies to complete the project!

Mrs. Sims’ class works together during Guidance to build teamwork and cooperation. Students were given tasks that had to be completed with the help of each team member. Way to go!

The raising and lowering of the flag by our students is a proud moment each day. As we remember September 11, this tradition is all the more meaningful.

One of our favorite parts of the day is hearing our students deliver the morning announcements!

Mrs. Miller’s 1st Grade Class wishes to thank their book buddies for sponsoring enough books for each student to receive a monthly book, as well as a special book for their birthdays!

Mrs. Carver’s 2nd grade class participates in STEM Bins as a morning learning option. Working with a partner, the bins support collaboration, problem solving, and creativity. We are growing Mustang minds!

A big thanks goes to our 2020-2021 5th grade class, as they collected plastic bottle caps and lids, which were turned into a trash can and bench. We are now collecting plastic caps and lids to go towards our next project! Please send any cap and lid donations with your students.

We are so excited to welcome our students back to SEFE, including 21 new enrollments. Each new student is greeted with a Mustang shirt and welcome bag. We look forward to a great year!

At 9:36 in the second quarter of today’s win over Milwaukee, Macee Williams became our program’s 𝐀𝐋𝐋-𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐑 with 1,810 points!!! Congratulations @macee_noelle! 🐐👏🏽🎉

Congrats to Mustang 6th grade girls on winning the FC Invite today with victories over Faith Christian and Covington. 6th grade girls finished 16-1 on the season.
