Pre-Dravidian people weren't wiped out, in fact they are the ancestors of modern South Indians. They got Dravidianised over millennia.

There is not a single native pre-Dravidian language in South India. We do have Munda languages in the eastern parts of India like Jharkhand. Nihali, a language isolate, was found to be spoken in Northern Maharashtra. Other than that, the languages spoken in Andaman are said to be the oldest continuous linguistic tradition in the subcontinent.
