Global Sr Project is fully underway! With today’s arrivals in Guatemala & Honduras, all 5 sites have begun their programs for the next 3+ weeks. These 28 Jr Bills have truly been “called to the frontiers” of Taiwan, Poland, France, Honduras & Guatemala. So much great work ahead!

Global Sr Project at SLUH is off to a flying start! Last night our Taiwan group kicked things off, while France & Poland took off today. Honduras & Guatemala set to go tomorrow. Amazing experiences ahead for these 28 Jr Bills as they serve the communities of our global network!

Today the One World Club hosted a cheerful welcome gathering for our international students from Chile, Colombia, and Poland. (And yes, in authentic St. Louis style, there were toasted raviolis.) @SLUHGlobalEd #SLUHGlobal #AMDG

What a special time of year! As we head back to classes, & kick off a new school year, we also welcome our Jesuit brothers & sisters from Chile, Colombia & Poland for a long visit to @sluhjrbills @NerinxHall & @StJoeAngels. St. Louis is a better place with all of you in it!

Colombia: In just 3 days our final summer program-Colombia Spanish exchange will set off for 3 weeks of life with our Jesuit partners, Colegio San Pedro Claver in Bucaramanga. For over 20 years SLUH students have been visiting CSPC for homestays, cultural & language immersion.

Happy 4th! SO MUCH going on in SLUH Global Ed these past weeks! After a HUGE start to the summer with our first 6 programs heading out after graduation, the remaining 6 have also provided their own amazing experiences for our SLUH students & faculty! Some recent highlights...

Mexico/Peru-6 Jr Bills & 2 Faculty are exploring Mexico City, Puebla, Cholula, Oaxaca, Lima, Cusco, & Machu Picchu to get a firsthand look at the ancient civilizations of both countries. Visits to Jesuit partners in Puebla & Lima, & service at local schools are bonuses!

Chartres, France-SLUH & Nerinx students & faculty will spend 3 weeks hosted by Institution Notre Dame families, our mutual partners in Chartres. Visits to Normandy, Versailles, Montmartre, & Paris make this cultural & language immersion so memorable for all!

What a week for our SLUH Global Ed programming. Since last Friday, 6 of our summer exchanges/immersions are off on amazing adventures with our global partners all over the world, "Called to the frontiers" as Jesuits have been for centuries. Six more still to come next month!
