@HIROFGN20250316 The translation is really good, I am enjoying talking to you guys, it feels very fluent. I love your guitar culture. Just remember the best thing about playing guitar is there's no rules, learn to do it your way.
@ZANKI_guitar Have you tempted fate with the truss rod yet? make it buzzy then just bring it back from that point?, after that your only option is sanding down the bridge
@HIROFGN20250316 Yes or like a Flying V, it is good for learning hard parts, it helps you be more grounded, then you can practice a part until it becomes muscle memory and you can play it in any position. Lead guitarists do it to play their solos. Try everything and find what works the best.
@xchristian@DrGuitar I love the look of les pauls and I appreciate them, I just don't like their tone and they do it on purpose. I went with Gretsch because it's like an LP but instead of being dark muddy and compressed it's bright clear and open. LP's just don't open up enough for me.
@SakesFrig@DrGuitar I get it. It’s just a lot of perceived value. Most of it is bookmatched tops which are beautiful, but overplayed. They make 350 LPs a day!
@xchristian@DrGuitar Nothing else there interests me, I'm gonna get hated for this but I'm not a gibson fan, although there are a couple LP's with p90's there that might have something going on. The tele thing is more interesting.
The Sideways Gibson Vibrola
In the prehistoric era of guitar this attempt at a whammy was a monstrosity and would squeak loudly, and didn’t stay in tune. 🤘
