My husband is a new person. He has continued to preach the gospel to me and encourage me daily since, even as we navigate displacement and rebuilding. The joy of this season has so far outweighed our losses, and we are having our best Christmas ever. (Shared with his permission!)

Christmas Eve storytime (it's good): This year, our home and cars were hit by Hurricane Helene, with 16 trees falling on our roof and yard. Once the sun came up, my husband climbed over branches and stood in front of our house grinning. Three weeks before, he had come to faith.
