What an awesome first spring tournament! Our team fought hard for two days and ended finishing runner up of the @PGFnetwork March madness 16U gold bracket in Dalton. I was so happy to be on the field with these girls and coaches. Thankful for the opportunities to contribute offensively and defensively for all 9 games. 2 HOME RUNS, .385 average, .556 OBP, 5 RBI, 5 SB CAUGHT 7 games, 26 innings and was 100% fielding percentage allowing NO stolen bases. Lots of new faces, same resiliency and grit. Got big efforts out of all our girls this weekend - especially our bomb squad - @SamPorter2029 & @bmckelvey_2028! Got the #1 seed in toughest pool, went 6-2 with only losses to the champs @ArmorEliteLynch, stolen base tally - 32 to 3.
